MER - Myofascial Energetic Release
“Fascia remembers what the mind forgets”

Myofascial Energetic Release (MER)
Myofascial Energetic Release is an integrative, deep form of bodywork practiced with skillfull integrity and acute sensitivity. This therapeutic approach alleviates acute and chronic physical pain, while simultaneously addressing somatic expressions of emotional and mental distress.
What makes MER unique is its invitation for recipients to proactively participate in direct engagement with their own innate healing power. The practice is a synergistic, dynamic dance of energy weaving together deep and soft connective tissue and joint manipulation, myofascial unwinding, assisted stretches, verbal cuing, conscious breathing, trauma and emotional awareness with release.
80% of the human population experiences chronic pain at any one time. At the root of the physical expression of this pain is an imbedded emotional, spiritual and mental energy pattern that is coiled within the connective tissue that lubricates, organizes and binds all of the physiological structures within the body. This tissue is named ‘Fascia’-A Latin word meaning ‘band’ or ‘bandage’.
The MER method restores flexibility and vitality of the soft tissues, structural integration of the body and physical fitness, deepens awareness of feelings and bodily sensations, reduces pain and helps people restore structural, functional and emotional health.
In MER we adjusts to individual needs, specific ailments, general physical and the mental and emotional state of a person. In this holistic approach we take care of the human being as a whole, taking many factors into consideration.
PLEASE NOTE: None of my services are psychotherapeutic in nature or a replacement for qualified mental healthcare. This is not a medical practice. If you suffer from any serious condition or you are taking medications you should check with your medical practitioner.
Benefits
